THING 1: HOW TO AVOID JETLAG
I’m heading out on the HOW DID THIS GET MADE, and I’ve been getting a lot of great tips about avoiding jet lag. I’ve compiled a few here.
A week before your trip, start going to bed 30 minutes earlier than usual bedtime.
Monitor your caffeine intake, and stop drinking coffee after 2 PM
Make sure to expose yourself to natural light for at least 30 minutes each morning.
Wear a headlamp at night to mimic daylight so you feel badly when sleeping at night.
Speak in the accent of the country you plan on visiting for 5 minutes a day for a month before the trip.
Only dream about the location and people you visit for a week before and 3 weeks after your trip.
Make sure on the flight take 2 Melatonin and 5 Benzos with a liquor of your choice.
Forget the concept of “Time.” Set your watch or phone to “Slot Machine,” and it will change time every time you look at it.
Make an enemy in the country you visit and taunt them for weeks before your trip. When you finally are in the same country, the adrenaline of that person finding you keeps you awake.
When traveling back to your own country, get into a medically induced coma and have your relatives transport your body back to your country of origin and wake up naturally six days after you return.
THING 2: SAD CLICKBAIT
Who do you think dropped this blind item, Bill or CAA? Regardless of your answer, why is it so desperate? Why does he want to go so badly?
THING 3: QUIET ON SET
This past week, I was just beside myself watching QUIET ON SET about the child abuse and sexual assault that happened behind the scenes on Nickelodeon in the late 90s and 2000s. I’ve spoken to so many people who recommended this other documentary, AN OPEN SECRET…Which is a lot less journalistically sourced but continues the conversation
and this is fascinating as well
